Terms of Use

The app license

The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA and cover the Reels2Recipes service, your account, subscriptions and content. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA about the license to the app itself, the Standard EULA controls. Apple is not responsible for the service or these Terms.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your Apple or Google account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Reels2Recipes, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings.

Subscriptions and free trial

• Plan: The Reels2Recipes subscription is an auto-renewing yearly subscription at $29.99 USD per year, or the equivalent price shown in your local currency in the App Store before you buy.
• Free trial: eligible new subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your Apple ID is charged the yearly price. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically each year unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancel or manage: go to your Apple ID settings on your iPhone (Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions). Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your Reels2Recipes account does not cancel the subscription.
• Refunds: purchases are made through Apple, and we cannot issue refunds. Apple handles all refund requests under its own policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Price changes: if the price changes, Apple will notify you in advance as its rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Acceptable use

Reels2Recipes is for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree to:

• Share only links to content you are allowed to view and use, and follow the terms of the site or platform the content comes from.
• Not republish, sell or distribute videos, transcripts or recipes you save through Reels2Recipes as your own, and not use the service to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights.
• Not misuse the service, including by trying to access other people's data, get around usage limits, overload or disrupt our systems, scrape the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
• Follow all laws that apply to you.

We may limit, suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Creators and third-party content

Videos, captions and pages you share belong to their creators and the platforms that host them. Reels2Recipes is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram, Meta, Facebook, TikTok or any recipe site. We show the creator's name and a link to the original post with each recipe. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it, and your use of those platforms is governed by their terms.

If you are a creator or rights holder and want content removed from Reels2Recipes, email support@silvapeaklabs.com with the link to the original post and we will remove the stored copy and related text promptly.

AI-generated recipes and food safety

Recipes, ingredient amounts, steps, timings and nutrition estimates are generated automatically by artificial intelligence from what a video or page contains. They can be wrong or incomplete, and the app marks some values as estimated. Always use your own judgment in the kitchen.

• Allergens: do not rely on Reels2Recipes to identify allergens. Check every ingredient and product label yourself.
• Food safety: cook food to safe internal temperatures, and follow safe handling and storage practices, whatever a recipe says.
• Nutrition: nutrition figures are rough estimates for general information. They are not medical or dietary advice.

Our service

We work to keep Reels2Recipes available and accurate, but we may change, suspend or stop features at any time. Some content may stop working if a platform removes it or blocks access. We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Reels2Recipes after that means you accept the new Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, Reels2Recipes is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Reels2Recipes, including any illness, injury or allergic reaction connected with a recipe. Our total liability for any claim relating to Reels2Recipes is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 USD if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in that state, unless the law requires a different forum.
